IJA artillery captain full dress. The photo model is Prince Naruhisa Kitashirakawa. Although a few regulation changes had been seen since 1886, details had been changed by following the fashion because this dress was made by private orders. The initial style in Meiji period, buttons arrangement looked like "O" shape and its collar shape was roundish. In Taisho to early Showa periods, this ”V" shaped arrangement of buttons and high collar were popular.
