IJA cavalry junior lieutenant full dress. This red kepi had been used only for officers belonging to the Imperial Guard Division. Other divisions had used normal black kepis. The photo model is Prince Kan'in Haruhito as a junior lieutenant in the Imperial Guard Cavalry Regiment .
