海軍参謀少将正装代用の第一種軍装。昭和13年以降、正装、礼装使用が停止し、昭和12年制定海軍太刀型軍刀佩用をもって、正装としている。勲三等瑞宝章、勲四等旭日章、満州上海事変従軍記章、日中戦争従軍記章、昭和大礼、満州建国記念、満洲皇帝訪日記念。
Japanese navy staff rear admiral's blue dress. In 1938, because of the outbreak of the Sino-Japan war, this uniform had been also used as a full dress or formal dress with a traditional style sword enacted in 1937.
